Who Are Night Patrol?
Night Patrol are a lively 4 piece covers band made up of seasoned professional musicians with over 20 years experience in the entertainment sector. This lively combo of merry men perform all the greatest chart topping hits, spanning from the 60’s to present day. Night Patrol don’t really have a specific genre as they love to cover a wide range of hits and add them to their very versatile set list. This has shot Night Patrol to be a very sought after covers band in the North of the UK. Along with their flamboyant, energetic performance and quality musicianship, the band maintain a very high standard when it comes to bringing their music to the masses.
Meet The Band
Lead Vocals
The band's front man Mark Owens is a talented vocalist and guitarist whose amazing range enables him to perform a variety of styles across many genres.
Mark's 20 year career, has seen him perform with numerous big bands across the UK, with great success. Mark injects passion into every song and, along with his fancy foot work and friendly audience interaction gives the gig an electric atmosphere.
Our front man commands the stage and keeps the crowd on their feet encouraging them to keep the dance floor packed.
Lead Guitar
Lead guitar is owned by the fabulous Gideon Chilton. Here we have a seasoned professional who's 20 year career has taken him to the top of his game. He has performed with a variety of reputable bands over the years and sits comfortably playing any style. As Night Patrol's most experienced musician - there isn’t a solo this man can not play! Gideon doubles up as Mark's right hand man, with his dry wit and humour the two bounce off each other wonderfully, keeping our performances fun.
Bass
On the bass we have the rhythm section powerhouse that is Dan Jerwood!
Dan locks in with our drummer to provide the backbone to our performances. Also a pianist he has performed around the UK in many reputable bands covering different musical styles.
This musicians career has taken him from the small stage to performances with Carol Voderman on television productions.
Our third vocalist, Dan harmonises beautifully with Mark and Gideon to complete our up front guitar trio.
Drums
At the back of the stage we have supreme sticksman Noel Hartley. This extremely talented percussionist has done it all, passionate about drums he puts everything into each performance. Originally tutored by London West End performers, Noel has taken his craft to the very highest level with a career spanning over 20 years. Performing in numerous groups over the decades including contemporary and classic, highlights have been musical theatre and festival appearances. Noel brings technical ability to the band resulting in a unique sound on each song.
Night Patrol have been invited to perform across the UK at various events, from Weddings, Private functions, corporate events and head lined many reputable festivals throughout the years. There isn’t a venue or occasion we cannot cater for.
